How to Maintain a Double-Ended Chamfering Machine Daily

I. Daily Maintenance per Shift

Cleaning and Shavings Removal: After work, thoroughly clean any remaining metal shavings from the machine tool to maintain a clean appearance.

Power Off and Finishing: Turn off the power to the control panel and the main power supply in sequence, and tidy up the tools and workpieces on site.

Basic Inspection: Check the status of all operating buttons and indicator lights. After confirming there are no abnormalities, complete the shift handover record.

II. Weekly Routine Inspection

Fastener Inspection: Thoroughly check the tightness of all fasteners on the equipment. Tighten any loose screws immediately.

Transmission Component Adjustment: Observe the tension of the transmission belt. Adjust the tension promptly if slippage or excessive looseness is observed.

Die Cleaning: Thoroughly clean the working surfaces of all positioning dies to prevent residual debris from scratching the workpiece and affecting machining accuracy.

III. Monthly In-Depth Maintenance

Guide Rail Rust Prevention: Apply rust-preventive lubricating oil evenly to the machine tool guide rails and sliding surfaces to prevent rust and jamming.

Oil System Inspection: Check the oil quality and quantity in the lubrication system, clear any blockages in the oil passages, and ensure smooth oil supply.

Electrical Cleaning: Clean the dust inside the electrical control cabinet and check that the grounding device is secure and reliable.

IV. Quarterly Special Maintenance

Bearing Lubrication: Add No. 46 lubricating oil to the bearings in the cutter shaft area to prevent abnormal noise caused by bearing wear.

Cut-out Tool Maintenance: Check the wear of the cutting blades, adjust the cutting edge angle, and replace them promptly when all four cutting edges are worn.

Function Verification: Test the equipment's emergency stop, brake, and safety protection devices one by one to confirm that they are functioning properly.
