I. Machining Accuracy Faults
Fault Symptom: Chamfering is off-center; chamfer sizes at both ends are inconsistent.
Troubleshooting: Verify that the workpiece outer diameter matches the fixture dimensions. Adjust the clamping die position to ensure both machine heads are perfectly concentric.
Fault Symptom: Chamfer length is unstable; large dimensional deviations.
Troubleshooting: For CNC machines, check for loose ball screws and servo motor connecting shafts. For pneumatic/hydraulic machines, extend the feed delay to ensure the cylinder/pneumatic cylinder stroke is fully completed before retracting the tool.
Fault Symptom: Chamfered surface is rough and uneven, with residual burrs.
Troubleshooting: Replace the tool with one appropriate for the workpiece material. Increase the spindle speed for soft iron parts and decrease the speed for hard workpieces to prevent tool chipping and scratching of the machined surface.
II. Action Logic Faults
Fault Symptom: Operates normally in manual mode, but the machine does not work after switching to automatic mode.
Troubleshooting: Check the displacement limit switches/magnetic switches. Adjust the sensor position. If the indicator light is not on, replace the sensor directly and check the corresponding relay status simultaneously.
Fault Symptoms: Vibrating noise during machining.
Solution: Stop the machine and check if the spindle bearing is loose or worn, and if the spindle bushing clearance is excessive. Replace worn parts to eliminate spindle play.
III. Basic Operational Faults:
Fault Symptoms: The equipment is completely unresponsive after startup.
Solution: Check the power wiring for looseness, whether the internal circuit breaker is closed, and whether the display screen is receiving power. Confirm there are no mechanical parts stuck.
Fault Symptoms: The equipment operates with abnormally loud noise.
Solution: Adjust the equipment to a horizontal position, stop the machine, and tighten any loose screws on the clamps to ensure secure workpiece clamping.
IV. Mechanical Jamming Faults:
Fault Symptoms: The equipment makes abnormal noises or even completely jams.
Solution: After stopping the machine, manually push the guide rails. If the resistance is too high, clean the guide rails and apply special grease. Use an air gun to blow away accumulated metal debris from the worktable and transmission gears. Run the spindle idle to check for bearing wear and replace bearings if necessary.
