I. Pre-Start Preventive Inspection
Check each component, including buttons, switches, indicator lights, and brakes, to ensure they function correctly.
Check the spindle fastening screws and insert screws to prevent loosening.
Confirm the oil pump supply is normal and check for oil circuit blockages and insufficient oil supply.
Verify the fit between the fixture dimensions and the outer diameter of the workpiece to avoid eccentricity issues.
II. Standardized Operation Management
Assign dedicated personnel to monitor the equipment. Operators must not leave their posts without authorization. Stop the machine immediately if any abnormal noise is detected.
Match cutting parameters according to the material: use high speed for soft workpieces and low speed for hard workpieces.
Regularly inspect finished chamfered products. Adjust promptly if the chamfered surface is not smooth or the length is off.
Ensure sufficient coolant supply to prevent overheating and burnout of the inserts.
III. Daily Maintenance After Shutdown
After each shift, thoroughly clean the machine of any residual metal filings to maintain overall cleanliness.
Clean the working surfaces of each die to prevent residual debris from scratching the machining surface and affecting accuracy. Check belt tension and adjust any loose drive belts promptly.
Apply rust-preventive oil to guide rails and sliding surfaces to prevent rusting and jamming during prolonged inactivity.
IV. Regular Deep Maintenance
Add No. 46 lubricating oil to the bearings in the cutter shaft area every 6 months to prevent bearing wear from causing tool vibration.
Regularly check tool wear; replace the cutting tool immediately when the flank wear exceeds 0.2mm.
Clean the dust from the electrical control cabinet quarterly and check the installation positions of limit switches and magneto-electric sensors.
Establish an equipment maintenance log, recording the details of each tool replacement, lubrication, and repair.
