1. Machine Bed and Foundation Support Module
Function: Supports all components of the machine tool, provides a stable machining datum, and ensures overall structural rigidity.

Includes a heavy-duty cast iron bed, along with accompanying leveling and vibration-damping structures designed to counteract vibrations generated during cutting operations and ensure machining precision.
2. Workpiece Clamping and Motion Module
Function: Secures the gear blank (workpiece) to be machined and provides the rotational and feed motions required for the machining process.

Comprises the workpiece headstock, chuck (or fixture), indexing mechanism, and feed slide; responsible for driving the workpiece to rotate at a constant speed according to a preset transmission ratio, while coordinating with axial feed movements to execute the cutting operation.
3. Tooling System Module
Function: Mounts the gear turning tool and provides the power required for the tool's rotational cutting action.

Includes the tool headstock, gear turning tool holder/fixture, and tool adjustment mechanism; allows for the interchange of tools to suit different gear types and enables the adjustment of the tool's mounting angle to meet specific cross-axis angle requirements.
4. CNC Control Module
Function: Provides unified control over all motion axes, ensuring that the transmission ratio and feed accuracy strictly adhere to machining specifications.

Consists of the CNC system, operator control panel, and servo drive units; allows for the input of gear parameters to automatically calculate motion trajectories and execute automated machining operations, while also supporting functions such as parameter adjustment and fault diagnostics/alarms.
5. Auxiliary Support Modules
Function: Ensures the stable and reliable operation of the machining process.

Includes the cutting fluid supply system, chip removal device, lubrication system, and safety guarding mechanisms; certain high-end machine models are also equipped with in-process inspection devices to monitor machining precision in real-time.
